Condition Near-mint condition - and definitely more mint than other listings claiming as such with dust all up in the speaker grills and dirty keys. All keys and buttons work. MIDI in out ports tested OK. Unit has been opened up and meticulously cleaned and restored to near-original condition. Carefully cleaned without chemicals of any kind. Almost don't want to let it go now that I'm looking at it, but I have a crazy-bloated collection and must downsize a bit. Manufacturer Notes The PortaSound PSR-48 uses the "DASSystem" which stands for Dual Architecture Synthesis System. When it was released, a keyboard based on waveform ROM was still a pretty new idea and Yamaha was in the process of transitioning from primarily using FM to using waveforms, so it included elements of both. It can be set to dual voice mode with two sounds playing at once.
